The unit arrived nearly fully charged and I topped it off by plugging it directly into a USB port on my computer using the built-in USB adapter. No extra cables! When I needed to use the unit to charge my iPod I just flipped up the top -- which also acts as a stand -- and connected it directly to the port. My iPod beeped and displayed it was being charged.
A day or so later I recharged my player again and still the charger was not exhausted. Quite impressive. Little blue status lights along the side indicate the power reserve in the pack so I knew when it was going to need another re-charge. Even after two charges I was only about half empty on the charger and probably could have used it for a 3rd charge before being completely exhausted. ... Read
