User Review
I considered Time Capsule a couple years ago when I needed a new router to replace an Airport Extreme zapped by lightning. I just didn't want to spend the extra money, and so I got a new AEBS. When looking for a new backup strategy last month, I read the reviews here and decided to get the Time Capsule for the wireless capability. I had tried to use Time Machine with a 2T My Book drive networked via the AEBS. It didn't work. Now I'm backing up my husband's MacBook Pro, my iMac and my external video drive all via WIFI in the background. If you love the ease of use of Time Machine, it's even better using Time Capsule. Setup took 5 minutes and my settings were automatically transferred to the TC. Now my AEBS is working as an extender on the network in a hard to reach part of the house and I will have a backup router if lightning strikes again.
