Steve Jobs' keynote speech is tomorrow and the Apple store
is out of all PowerBooks. Make of that what you will, but
it is worth pointing out that all of the others stores have
the PowerBooks in stock. The PowerBooks line was revised
this past November and is still pretty "fresh." The
iMac line is the oldest at this point, followed by the eMac
and Power Mac. We generally try to steer clear of pre-expo
gossip, and Apple seems to be moving away from tying product
launches to expos. If and when Apple announces new hardware,
we will update the appropriate guide.
Both of Apple's remaining promotions will end tomorrow.
No doubt new ones will eventually take their place.
Until next week, happy shopping!
Current Promotions:
Apple - "Brighten
your holidays," lands you a $99 rebate on your choice
of the DeskJet 3820 ($100 MSRP) or 5550 ($150 MSRP) printers

"Double your memory" promotion, this one is not
limited to the Apple store, but it is limited to a list of
participating
retailers. Of the stores we track, only MacConnection,
ClubMac and MacMall are included in the promotion. Promotion

Apple - "Office
Party" Drops the price of Microsoft's Office v.X

Office must appear on the same invoice. Promotion ends January
7th, just in time for Macworld
SF.
