As you probably know Apple announced new PowerMacs on Tuesday. The new configurations weigh in at 1 GHz (single processor) for $1,499, Dual 1.25 GHz for $1,999 and a Dual 1.42 GHz for $2,699.
This has led to huge price drops on the previous versions of the dual processor Towers. You can now get the Dual 867 MHz Tower for $1,494, the old Dual 1GHz Tower for $1,994 and the old Dual 1.25 GHz Tower for $2,494. These prices represent a price drop of $200, $500 and $800 respectively.
This is bad news if you bought your machine a week ago .. But great news if you want to buy now!
