Last week we noted that both ClubMac and MacMall were very low on all Power Mac models. Over the weekend, we noticed that the Apple Store was listing a 7-10 day wait. Given this information, we updated this guide over the weekend, speculating that a Power Mac revision was on the way.

As of this writing, the Apple Store is still listing a 7-10 day wait for all Power Macs, but ClubMac and MacMall now have an ample supply. The signs are certainly less clear now, but the continuing delay at the Apple store is highly suspect. Regardless of where you choose to buy, I recommend swinging by the Apple Store first to check the status of the current models.

The Shrek 2 game and Return of the King DVD bundles have been pulled this week, but have been replaced by discounts (via mail-in rebate) on Office 2004. MacMall is also offering free pairs of Bolle sunglasses as a bundle.

Note: ClubMac and MacMall are offering a "shopping cart special" on the HP PhotoSmart 7960 printer. Adding the printer to your cart lowers the price by $77. What appears at first blush to be a generous discount turns out to be a rather modest one. Both stores list the regular price as $300, but HP lists the price as $230. In other words, that $77 discount is really just a $7 discount. We checked all of other HP printer bundle prices at both stores and they were in line with the MSRP...
