Though the 800 MHz PowerBooks are getting scarce (82 units
at ClubMac), there are still plenty of the 667 MHz version
kicking around (520 units at ClubMac).
To sweeten the deals, MacWarehouse
has added a 128 MB USB flash drive to the already existing
bundle items, which include extra RAM and a free or discounted
case, among other things. Also MacWarehouse if offering an
instant cash rebate of $52 on the 667 MHz machine and $60
on the 800 MHz one. The cash rebate is for this week only
and ends 11/24.

Apple - "Brighten
your holidays," lands you a $99 rebate on your choice
of the DeskJet 3820 ($100 MSRP) or 5550 ($150 MSRP) printers
from HP. Available with the purchase of any Mac. Unlike Apple's
"Double your memory" promotion, this one is not
limited to the Apple store, but it is limited to a list of
participating
retailers. Of the stores we track, only ClubMac and MacMall
are included in the promotion. Promotion ends January 7th,
just in time for Macworld
SF.
Apple - "Double
your memory" Available through the Apple store only,
this promotion lets you double the base RAM on any Mac for
$40. Maximum Double RAM available through this promotion is
512MB. RAM upgrades over 512MB include the promotional savings.
This promotion runs through December 31st.
Apple - "Power
Couple" buy a PowerBook (or Power Mac) and an Apple
flat panel display and receive cash back via mail in rebate.
The rebate amount is tied to the machine you buy, not the
screen. You will get $300 back if you get a G4/667 and a flat
panel, or $400 if you get a G4/800 and a flat panel. Both
items must appear on the same invoice. Runs through December
31.
Apple - "Office
Party" Drops the price of Microsoft's Office v.X
from $500 to roughly $200 when bought with any Mac. Actual
prices at various stores tend to be lower.The computer and
Office must appear on the same invoice. Promotion ends January
7th, just in time for Macworld
SF.
