The iPod Touch does have significant upgrades. It now features a similar display to iPhone 4, which Apple dubs Retina Display. It is twice the resolution, and looks oh so gorgeous. Honestly, I have never used a display that looks as crisp as Apple's Retina Display. Steve Jobs had described it as looking similar to the text in a high quality book, and I would have to agree.
